A calmer way back to learning
Growly is an adaptive learning app designed to rebuild learning confidence and momentum, especially when attendance is uneven or a child is overwhelmed. It uses short activities to work out what the learner understands and what they need next, then adjusts the pathway so progress stays doable.
What Growly does
Growly is built for learners who don’t thrive with one-size-fits-all instruction. Instead of expecting a child to push through work that feels too hard or too fast, Growly adapts the learning pathway to suit the learner’s current capacity. That means more small wins, less shutdown, and a steadier routine over time. Parents can use it as a practical home learning structure, and schools and partners can use it to support re-engagement and learning continuity for students who are disengaged or frequently absent. Privacy, consent, and safeguarding sit underneath the whole approach.
Personalised pathway
Short activities adjust to the learner’s pace, so progress stays doable.
Safeguarding-first
Privacy, consent, and data minimisation are built in from the start.
Curriculum-aware
Where appropriate, we reference the Australian Curriculum to help connect learning with school expectations.
Who it’s for
Parents and carers
If your child is avoiding school, falling behind, or losing confidence, Growly helps you restart learning with small steps and a routine you can keep.
Schools and partners
Growly supports re-engagement and personalised learning pathways for students who are disengaged, frequently absent, or struggling to access mainstream learning.
What you’ll get with Growly
Growly uses short learning cycles: the learner responds, the pathway adjusts, and the next activity is chosen based on what they need next. That means less guessing for parents and fewer gaps hidden by rushing ahead. The focus is on steady progress, not perfect sessions. You can use it for short daily routines at home, or as part of a broader support plan with school and allied supports. Where appropriate, we reference Australian Curriculum expectations so it’s easier to translate progress back into the classroom. Safeguarding and privacy sit underneath everything, with consent and data minimisation built into the way the program is delivered.
Guided by expert advisers
Growly is developed with input from an advisory panel with expertise in child behaviour, psychology, education, neurodiversity, and safeguarding. Their role is to challenge assumptions, pressure-test design choices, and help keep the program practical, safe, and aligned with how children actually learn.
We use advisory input to shape content, consent and privacy settings, accessibility decisions, and how schools and families are supported during rollout.
Help shape Growly
We’re inviting parents and specialist practitioners to join short focus groups to help us design Growly well.
Parent focus groups
You’ll be asked about what’s hardest right now, what would make learning feel doable at home, and what information you’d want to see as a parent. Sessions are run online, and you can participate anonymously if you prefer. You’ll never be asked to share sensitive details in a public setting.
Practitioner focus groups
We’re looking for input from professionals working with children and teens, including psychologists, educators, and neurodiversity specialists. We’ll ask what “good” looks like in real-world support, what safeguards matter most, and how Growly could fit alongside existing school and family supports.
If you’d like to be involved, contact us via the form on this page or email hey@heygrowly.au with “Focus group” in the subject line.
